My step-dad has been working on the riot story since it happened and has good sources in Handsworth and lozels, it will kick off.
I do hope I'm wrong though as he will be tonight with only a camaraman for protection!!

People have a right to know what goes on in there city and the REAL reasons haven't been reported as not to give this mindless wart on the arse of society the sense of glory!
You are right about media hype in most issues though
p.s I don't think its the pushing over of gravestones that is the clincher but the leaflet drop that they chose to do at the same time!!

Its a total lack of respect,Ray Malham had the right idea,he didnt worry about poxy speeding and road cams he was into zero tolerance and got Middlesboro's crime down.
Till the media had to try and dig something up and get him needlessly suspended,Zero tolerance is what is needed and start at the top...anyone caught with a gun ,10 years NO remission,caught with one on a job 20 years NO remission.....anyone caught with a knife 5 years....on a job 10 years...again NO remission.
All prisons to be moved close to the coastline in desolate areas where prisoners will be given 12 hour days of breaking rocks to build the coast line, @ 6 days a week like hard labour....
Empty the prisons first with an amnesty on non violent criminals but let them break rocks for a month beforehand to show them what they will get if the re-offend.
National service for all 16 year old boys for a year to 18 months with a choice of a trade whilst in the camp.
All girls to attend Family units one day a week in their towns to learn family values.
From 14 to 18 years of age anyone caught commiting an offence to be sent to detention centres for hard labour for 3 months,re-offend and it goes up to 6 months and is doubled each time they offend.
No one person should affect any group meet be it social,religous,sporting,working,dead
or any other as people should be able to act freely in life without other peoples disruption,offenders to be severly punished with custodial sentances. It needs a hard line to get the respect back before we lose it completely.
