Are the Tam and the Saggy's turning circles as appaling as the T350?! Or is it just my car perhaps?!

Any explanation as to why it is so bad, it's starting to get a bit annoying now after a few months of driving?

: confused:

Tam turning circle also truly atrocious - worst thing for me has having to 3-point turn a hairpin in Wales with cars waiting to get round from other direction, obviously need more practice in booting it round corners!

LOL, agreed, it can be very embarrassing having to negotiate a tight spot, 360 point turn would be a more accurate description.
Any other time, great fun though, although my Tam is so muddy it looks like a mottle effect -camoflaged Panzer wagon!

Clutch, handbrake, listen for wheels squeeling, turn the wheel, when pointing in the desired direction release handbrake and continue.

Yep ours is just as bad. It's the 18" wheels as I understand it. I was told the standard porper wheels on the Tam are from a ride and turning circle perspective.

Is your car fixed Kevin?

Old Chinese proverb "Man who want to go round smaller corners buy smaller car".

2 options:

- Spin it on the throttle
- Back a fore with lots of revs so many more people see what a cool car you have.

The turning circle is a bit annoying, but its no big deal to me - we have power steering after all.

That's what we get for having wide wheels in a limited size wheel arch!

If you think the T350 is bad You should try a 4.5 Cerbera, My dads friends Tug boat is probably easier to manouvre in tight spaces

The most embarrasing thing about the limited turning circle is when you overshoot a turning by only a few feet and have to reverse and try again!

Not only is the turning circle pretty vast, but if you collect mud or leaves on the tyres, then they rub against the inside of the wheel arch. This can be a bit alarming at first. Small price to pay. The need is for speed.

The 18" wheels make this rubbing sound worse but I've not seen any damage on my T350 so far.

It shouldn't be any real problem for an experienced driver.

surely all you need to do is take a wider approach to the corner like what lorries/buses etc do.
we drive TVR's and YES WE DO OWN THE ROAD

Yes I took the wider approach in a drive through earlier this month.

Result: I now need the front passenger wheel respraying.

in a drive through

Never use them myself....but then again all the drive throughs i've seen are like slalom courses so surely would have been better to park up in carpark and walk in........i know TVR's are meant for driving but, come on, legs are for walking aswell.
