Can anyone suggest a reputable music store for downloads. Napster and HMV are no use to me as the file format they download at are the protected WMA files, I cannot convert these files for my Sony HD5 because of the protection. The Sony music store whilst good has some notable artists missing.
Having done some reseaarch I am bit nervous about giving my credit card details to some of these russian based music stores in addition I dont really want to go down the P2P route either.
Cheers

Welcome to DRM-hell.

Sony will only play Sony store music. Same as iPod will only play iTunes.

The best bet is to buy a CD and rip it, or buy from any store, burn a CD then rip it as MP3.

Answering my own question!!!
I have found this software....and it works....basically what happens it copies the protected file as it plays in Windows Media Player and saves it as a MP3
