Now for the long shot!!!:

Does anyone know of a friction type diff for sale/ anyone have one sitting spare/ even know of where I may find one (breakers etc?) - Our hydratrac diff is on its way out (yep, that whining sound I complained about is probably it!) so time to upgrade to a proper LSD

Incidentally, anyone want a hydratrac diff in need of a rebuild, AFAIK its something to do with an output shaft... no?? no one?? dont blame you. lol

Err, also, does anyone have a set of low mileage cats that they "forgot" to pass onto the next owner or something??? Perhaps you've gone to decat pipes and your friendly independant servicers fit thier own cats for your MOT's - leaving your lovely condition ones sitting at home waiting to meet our Cerbera??

Looking for all of the above for reasonable money, trying to make the looming "big bills" a little smaller.

Thanks in advance,
Ben CA

Try ebay for the cats, also the diff's can be rebuilt, is it a Quaffe unit?

Rebuild costs will probably be a fair amount and I have never liked hydratrak personally... sort of hoping that a friction type diff will be available from a written off car?

There's one on ebay at the moment - for a Chim/Griff. But is looks identical to my Cerb BTR one, so pressume it will fit. Its also advertised here on PH. Hope this helps!!
