There are times when you think that PW could let a bit of "modern" technology in. Like lights that "did a Ford" and turned off to position lights when you removed the ignition key, or a
beep, when you took the key out.
On a Griff, you can't tell if the lights are on from all the light polution in the south of England

Mmm - I know the feeling. Given a large amount of the steering column on the Noble is Ford - WTFH didn't they keep the "lights on" warning. Still - the two lads that gave me a bump start at the NEC car park at the motor show didn't seem to mind after I left my lights on!

OK... why bother with a lights on warning... why not do what Fiat do... even on my mothers Seicento! - remove the keys, the lights go off! Simply, yet effective! Parking lights? Yep, push in the button and turn the ignition the "wrong way".
Aside from that, Maplin will flog you a light's on buzzer that's easy to fit to any car - cost a few quid and about an hour in time.

Got the Maplin thing fitted to the Chim - works a treat, bleeping if you switch off with the lights on.
A shining example of technology...
