Slow cranking

Hi, last couple of questions. Car I am looking at cranks quite slowly, aparently more so when hot. What do you think, new starter required?

Also, anyone know how much a manual rack for a 4.3 costs?

You need to put an earth lead from the bell housing to the battery, this should solve your problem with the slow cranking. It maybe worth having your starter re-conned aswell.

I have a manual rack for sale, someone has reserved it, so if you're interested drop me a line in a month or so.

It's had a front end prang, and now it needs a rack... could that be a result of the crash? If it's just wear and tear fair enough - but be very very sure.
