Colour confusion
Discussion
Now I'm not going to join in any discussions of anyones (or their cars)sexuallity, but as far as I know there is no evidence pointing to any yellow inpropriety - B U T - I have seen photos of Jagos cavorting in woodland and they were of the RED variety!
Another yellow (peril) can only serve to raise the profile!
A pal has a Kamala, which he took to Donnington - The most memorable thing he brought away with him was the fact that so many Jagos were in evidence - well done you lot, even if most of you were gay/red

Sorry chaps - the new red is YELLOW, my Geep is now Yellow instead of green. (Apart from the tailgate bonnet and wings which are still green and not yet fitted)
It's a very bright YELLOW and can be seen for miles.
I've been brush painting it with Yacht Enamel outside and it's still not looking too bad.

So the "gay-red" bashing has started again eh?...........
The one that started it all at Newark '05 will always be the Gayest Red of all.......
Dont worry when I finally get my other one done it definately wont be Red , ironically it is currently sprayed Red over a pale blue body tub but will be Metallic Blue one day.
Yellow is cool , after all I collect Tonka trucks so I have to like it.....
Sharon's will however be staying in the "shades of Red" area with her Purple one , though for next year it will hopefully be more of a Cadbury's Purple than the Lilac shade it is now.

Huzzah !!!
Come on you yellows !!!
Dave- are you using International TopLac by any chance? I found it didn't like a second coat until about a year later and even then there was some pickling. I did mine about 4 years ago now and it does need brightening up now. I'd have to strip it completely or put a shedload of primer on it to allow sufficient sanding without breaking through.
Good choice.
Cheers

Hi there Ian. not sure about the make of my paint, came from a supplier to the motor trade, mixed up to match a paint chip that I gave him - it is two pack (non baked). Was sprayed on top of Dacrylate marine grey two pack primer applied to rubbed down gelcoat, repaired areas, some of which were a layer of isopon and other areas which were new GRP (marine style)
Some of it is looking a bit tyred now due to metal rings in the tarp and general wear and tear, but no peeling at all, this I think is due to the prep work done.
Hope what I have left is ok (min order 5ltr) as I am looking for a body tub to make a trailor like tonkas!
MOT, called in today (loose appointment made for a gap!) never did get round to bleeding the brakes, but they held up for the test and thanks to the newly changed V5 I am now legal again.
Word of warning to those who have not checked their new style v5. My old style v5 described yellow as a "Jago ford" but the new one read "Jago ford escort"!!!! but after sending it back in August the new v5 now states just "jago" - suits me fine!
