Those nasty Griff owners have started a thread (in the Griff section), where they are opening abusing the classy shape of the obviously superior chim.
The thread is called :-
GRIFF V CHIM...let battle commence (sorry don't know how to create a link)
Come fellow chim owners are you going to let these cads abuse our cars.

Well said Squirrelz - I, unlike most Griff owners, use my car every day and I love it. Rather than "lay it up for winter" I prefer to be a real man and risk rain, snow and lots of sideways action....
Pooofs the lot of them....
Real men drive Chimaeras....
Edited for more pi55 take

I'm playing the waiting game. They go on and on about how the griff is rarer than the chimaera. blah blah. So everyone will go out and buy a griff... and they'll be as common as fiestas
says the man with Fiesta rear lights....
Everyone might go out and try and buy a Griff, but as supply has stopped they'll only get scarcer....
I'm sorry. The truth hurts doesn't it

get back into yer pen!
My friend owns a body shop and he prefers Griffs.............they give him more work with body damage. Which begs the question, is it the handling or the drivers or both that are *hit .
right that's my monthly post out of the way, of to add to the 15k miles this year. COME ON THE CHIMAERA

'If they are a better looking car,(which is why most people choose between the two) why did the Chim outsell them by 4 to 1?'
Because people are scared by the Griff's reputation as an arse-kicking hairy-chested fire-breathing monster that eats people for breakfast.
(have to confess that we have Cavalier rear lights, but at least Cavaliers are bigger than Fiestas...)

Why do Griff owners always feel the need justify that their cars are better than Chimaera's?

By this logic, the Mondeo is far, far better looking than any TVR?????

1. We don't have to. We just know
2. The reason was mainly the availability of smaller engined versions which were deemed to be less of a handful than either the Griff 500 or Chimaera 500 and the fact that the boot is bigger. The Chimaera is slightly softer in the suspension generally (don't believe the claims that the Chimari and Griffi have the save suspension and chassis and therefore handle the same as they don't after driving too many to remember) which again appealed to new entries to the marque although some claim that this means the golf clubs are likley to do less damage inside the boot.... Allegedly.
At the end of the day the Griff is a Griff and a Chimaera is a Chimaera. End of story.
