Ah, sorry chaps - have been trying to get the hang of it offline tonight. There's been talk of a GTL race on Wednesday though, and I'm definitely on for that.

Just so I can get a feel for how I'm doing, how are you guys finding the career mode (those of you that aren't cheating )?

I'm having a bit of a hard time of it on Expert - won the first Minis race, came last in the second, and I'm struggling to get better than fourth in the Drift Kings. Am I just crap, or do I need to lower my sights a little and give semi-pro a try?

PV, Michael and I had some absolutely stonking races online tonight. GTL is (IMHO) considerably better than GTR, especially online.

yeah, they were great! I bashed into someone and flipped them into about 8 barrel rolls though (and they didn't mind, I said sorry and they said it was ok!). GTL is much, much more fun than GTR online I think. (AJLintern - I think you will really like it too).

we must have had at least 10 races and not ONCE did it freeze, run a short race, disconnect everyone!

I think there were as many incidents, but the cars (and people) were more forgiving.... bit of rubbin seemed ok

cant wait for another bash, but my eyes are sooooo sore

Tonight anyone ...........

ps - good to see us three at the top of 16 odd players each time

pps - Badders, AJ, Rob F, are you out there

Yeah, apparently there's an unlimited cash cheat available. Personally I'd rather work my way through, but I can understand the "I paid for it all, I want it all now" school of thought.

I don't have the time to do the career mode so I'd like it more GTR style by driving all cars if anyone has the knowledge.

I bought it on Sunday, did one race at Donington with the Cortina, can't see myself doing anything in the mini except shout "faster" all the time whilst bouncing in my chair.

Amen to that They're still quite fun though - more so against human opposition I expect.

Haven't downloaded it myself, but Googling "GT Legends Trainer" should get you the file you need. Usual disclaimers apply, of course - perhaps someone who has it can confirm...

This is the least cheating way of cheating

Open your "UserName".PLR file in your userdata folder
Find the line Vehicle Removal="30.00000" // Seconds until stationary vehicle is removed from track (sug: 30)
and change it to Vehicle Removal="00.01000" // Seconds until stationary vehicle is removed from track (sug: 30)

Run the cup races as normal but all the ai cars will disappear off the grid as the green light comes on. You will win every race just for completing 1 lap I don't think you have to even complete a lap but I did just to make sure.

its not alla bout speed FWD, the minis are a bit slower which is why they provide such great racing.

Hehe, that's genius that This way I can still run through the career, and when I finally admit to myself that I'm not going to win this one...

So I can be useless and still have a successful career... Anyone have a real-life equivalent?

We'll probably have say 3 races or more, start at 7:45 then lads But we probably won't get a race in until 8ish so you should be here in time.. You'll get at least one race in!
