Hiya,

Coming to grips with my 111r (I've done about 300 miles ina week) and not overly impressed with the lights.

Has anyone experience of upgrading the bulbs?, or is their another option that I should consider.

Many thanks

Simond

ps. anyone else noticed that the space in fron of the cubby hole between seats makes a great cup holder?

There is an HID kit available from elise-shop.com. Bulb changes are a waste of time.

cool, I'll look at them.

The HID lights also look good, I want to see them on a Elise and compare.

driving lamps only work with main beam - if its better dip beam you want Id start with getting the alignment checked and adjusted at a bodyshop etc - a lot of cars leave the factory incorrect....after that, dont waste your money on £80 worth of upgraded bulbs...get the Elise Shop xenon kit....Ive had the dips done about 2 years now...and this year went the whole hog and did the main beam and driving lamps...its like driving in daylight

How much did that cost in total? Not that i am going to change with this car but will bear it in mind for next one.

mmm from memory each kit was between £200 and £250 so about £600-700 total. To be honest just doing the dips makes the most difference though as thats what you use the most.
