Hi everyone

Firstly this is not an advert

Secondly, an introduction. I have been on the Chimaera forum for ages with my 1993 4.3 Mark Adams mapped beast but I always hankered after a Cerbera.

I am now in a position to buy one (once I sell the Chim) so I have been looking around and have seen about 7 cars.

The latest one is an S-reg Imperial Blue 4.5 at Classic Dream Machines TVR main dealer in Heathfield, E.Sussex. www.dreammachinestvr.co.uk/tvr_list.aspx

Lovely car, very smooth and fantasically quick along the B roads of Sussex! Unfortunately it was just out of my price range but I was offered a massive £8000 part-ex on my Chimaera. I am asking £8995 for it on the classifieds so as you will appreciated it is an offer almost too good to refuse.

I think they must be very keen to move the Cerbera!

I know this is a huge long-shot, but if anyone was looking for a nice S-reg imperial blue 4.5 Cerbera then maybe I could part-ex my car into the bargain and realise £8k for my impending purchase.

It was just a thought as the Chimaera market is very slow at the moment (seasonal I guess) and I want a Cerb

if anyone is interested please let me know but I realise I'm probably pi$$ing in the wind.

Cheers everyone.

Now thats what I call an optimistic post. . Anyone walking in to get that Cerb with cash in hand is going to expect a good deal on the price, certainly if you sniff wanting to sell from the dealer.

Effectively the 8K on your chim is them giving you money off the Cerb not giving you a good price for the Chim.

So the poor old guy you want to partner up with is getting a rough deal if you take the 8K
