A couple of months ago I had new drop-links fitted to the HSV. Unfortunately the camber was mis-aligned as a result of this. I should have thought that this could have happened, but didn't.
Noticed this morning, that the inner shoulders of the front tyres were bald.
As the car has always worn its tyres evenly, I was a bit surprised & p****d off, as the tyres would have had at least another few thousand miles left.
I use the Bristol depot of Protyre, who have two high tec. laser alignment machines. All the Aus. settings are on these as well!
It cost just under £100 to adjust the tracking & camber & it took them a couple of hours. They showed me each stage on the easy to understand colour monitor & they gave me the final printout.
Good news was the 235/40/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 GDS3 tyres were £99 each. Which is a bargain.
I had previously paid c.£130 from Protyre for the same tyres. They said the price had dropped due to it's popularity.
As always I got a great service from Protyre who are very professional & have the cleanest tyre depot I've ever seen.
They have depots throughout the South.

Hi Tom,

Where in Bristol. Got a problem with my Forester wheel set up that needs sorting and my Monaro tyres are getting a bit low as well!

Cheers

You can't miss it, it's on the corner of a junction with a massive shop front full of Alloys. Just up from the big Lawrence Hill roundabout.

That's interesting, as in the past I've compared prices with Mitcheldever ( as a benchmark) & Protyre has been cheaper!
