Are you looking for a 'cheap' car? ie can you afford one? ie cheaper car MIGHT mean higher running costs. All IMHO.

My car will be on the market soon. It will be below market value due to the stone chips on the front end. Although I have had a quote of £800 to get it to A1 cond.

Only problem is my budget needs to include £3,000 for registration when I get the car back to Jersey, yes that is £3,000 for a number plate!

Am prepared to go higher for the right car.

And dont forget the £3K pa running costs (plus petrol and insurance). It WILL cost this much (unless you are lucky).

Well thinking of leaving it till March or April but I want to buy something so I need the cash!
