Dear all, we got married in the US last year in the grand canyon and we had a phtographer take some pictures for us. He took them on a medium format camera, and printed us off some 6*4's and gave us the negatives 'for us to do with what we like'. We haven't done anything with them so far, but I need to get an album together. To be honest in from what I can see in the 6*4 format the photos aren't fantastic, they definately need some tweaking with contrast etc.

Whats the best way to go about this, are there companies out there that do this sort of thing, I would imagine they'll need to be scanned in and then processed digitally? Can anyone recommend any company that can do this?

Cheers

Bump!

Well you don't have to go the digital route. A lab or a specialist who hand prints may produce your best results.

I've only used Lab35 (and Lab120) in the recent past. Even these have "premium" services though I don't know exactly how good they are. A browse through the back pages of a magazine will turn up a few specialists too. I'm sorry, I can't recommend anyone through experience, but hopefully someone else will?
