Yo homies
Sitting at work without TVR is like not making love to a beautiful woman.
All work and no TVR (failed clutch
) make me a bored boy. I had a hare-brained idea. How's about we take matters into our own hands and make our own calendar? Forget Pirelli, we want Pie-relli.
I have created a special email address for you to send your pics to- it is oigimme@yahoo.co.uk
OK, let's break this down:
The CONCEPT:
A TVR owner's calendar. Shots of our vehicles, all taken by us. Maybe even just a simple wallplanner or something. Each shot could be accompanied by a little caption with the owner's nickname, and silly or straightforward remark. Max 20 words please.
1.Send me a maximum of 2 pics, which require NO further cropping, editing or messing about with colours etc as I know precious little about that sh1te. They can be as inventive, arty, proud, ridiculous, or naughty as you like, preferably involving your car.
No handgrenades of readers' wives though please. There is a butcher with a dustbin nearby which I can stare into for free.
2.When I have got enough interest and photos, I will submit these to a printers'. I could post them on fotango.com for a preview by you lot, before we consider going to press.
3. Now the tricky bit. Does anyone have a press, or underworld dealings with one who could print us of a minimum quantitiy cheap?
Let's make like Nike and Just Do It. Time is running out. Go on go on ya will ya will.
Maybe it will happen, maybe not. But we can but try, yes?
Oh and if this is already happening and I am simply putting my green foot in it, then let me know.

But the TVR Car club doesn't have MY, or YOUR, car on it.My vanity must be satisfied!
The Tuscan photographs well, because it is the dog's very pretty bollarcks.
That and the fact that it doesn't work/move a lot, so it is unmarked in showroom condition so much of the time.
Shame... is this going to be stillborn?

Oh well stuff the idea. Should I concentrate on more realistic plans, like taking over the world?!!

Hi Oz,
The Cambs region have been doing this now for the past 2 years. Our new 2006 one has just come hot off the press. It is made up of all the regions members cars from photo's they've supplied me or I've taken.
If you send me an email I'll let you know how I produced it etc...
You can also can send me some pictures of your car or if you come along to a Cambs meeting or one of the events we organise you never know they maybe included in our 2007 calendar !
