Hi Guys,
Been viewing the site for a while now, thought it was time to post. Have a black VXR six in Lymington. Firstly can't believe no-one spotted the villain making off in a black VXR on the bill a couple of weeks ago. Secondly has anyone seen the new Clarkson vid?, (came out on Monday). Apparently the VXR doesn't make 300 bhp but has 500lb torque !!!!!! ( huh!!!!????) And has 40% less power than a FQ400 EVO ( eh!!??). C'mon Jeremy sort yourself out!
Top site guys.

As for the JC video! Thats Odd, thought JC liked the Monaro?? Many Monaros on this site make over 350BHP at the wheels let alone the engine!!

Welcome to the forum. Let the fun commence.

After spending money on the mods, I'm now saving to have plastic surgery to have the smile removed from my face. No rush!

Will we be seeing you at the 'Later M8' drive this weekend?

Hi David, welcome to the forum. If I didn't have my HSV I'm sure a black VXR would be on the drive.
Out of interest, what car did it replace?

Wow! thanks for the welcome guys,

A57HSV, VXR replaced, (still have) Vauxhall, (/bedford/isuzu/cevrolet/holden...etc etc) brava pick up!! that's about 85bhp-400, (interesting!). And several bikes, (also still have) they're all Yam IT's to anyone in the know, (hence the handle)
MCD, J.C. loved the car, just often seems to get his facts wrong and is forever confusing the CV8 with the VXR, (don't mean in this case as both are 350+bhp).

Havn't had any mods yet, ( unless you count the HSV decals on the side skirts LOL!)The Wortec kit sounds awesome, but I'll probably wait 'till I've done a few more miles. I'm afraid the Monaro's a sunny Sunday only car at the moment , being the first new car, (and most expensive!) I've had. Maybe I'll get over it soon. Definately needs to sound better and I'd like somewhere around 460bhp, ( at the moment!). Never ceases to chuff me how many pedestrians are turning to stare when you look back in the rear view mirror as you pass. Parked outside Beulieu classic car garage yesterday, (ok NOT a Sunday, but it WAS sunny) and all the punters were more interested in the VXR than the Rollers, Jags etc!

Hi, welcome to the fun side of motoring! I too am a recent 'joiner'. I picked up my VY2 Clubby yesterday from the removal companies yard, and within 100yds had several 'starers and pointers' - just had to smile to myself at the looks of "wot the f**k" as I roared past :-). And then there was the BMW driver on the M11 today - probably still looking under his bonnet to figure why he got creamed by a "vauxhall?"
Hope everyone has as much fun with their's as I do mine!!
