A letter appearing in this month's Total 911 magazine was short and sweet moaning about the inclusion of the 246 Dino in the last issue, and calling it something like a 'pimp wagon', then going on about it should be called 'Total Fiat'.

Wot a dickhead!

I thought that was one of the better articles personally, and sorry but i think Ferrari could learn a lot by looking back at cars like the Dino 246. Much nicer in my eyes than anything they make today, and anything they have made since the 288GTO/F40 really.

We've had a pretty mixed response over the whole 911 v Ferrari thing but we will see it through to the end and the next instalment should be in the January issue. Refering to a Ferrari as a Fiat or Pimp Wagon is blinkered pig-ignorance and should be ignored. Great though the 911 is, its rivals deserve a close look and this series will produce some very interesting results, I'm sure.

Thanks for the feedback - keep it coming!

Great mag Kevin

IMO i think comparing the 911 to other marques is a good feature to continue with. Not only does it provide another article to read but will show where Porsche either beat, equalled or lost out to the competition in whatever era of cars you choose to look at. Maybe we'll see a 911 against a Lambo in a future issue

Even so, doing these sort of features will ultimately not push everyone's buttons.
