i was in my conti GT, quick blat then nice gesture with lights, still nice to know fellow performance car owners still acknowladge and appreciate different marks.
Its funny you say that, more than a few times I've had a quick blat ;-) and given a smile when we later had to part company. However, you find BMW drivers are the opposite, they either won't acknowledge you or scowl over as if their pride is really hurt, I imagine they're thinking "shit, I didn't manage to drop this guy!"

Not all BMW drivers are like that !
Of course not, but it seems that there are more of this personality type driving BMW's than other marques.
Also, I heard from a very reliable source that pulling a BMW (usually a M3,330) for speeding is really easy, you just pull out behind him in the fast lane and he'll usually continue to go faster and faster, attempting to drop the "upstart" who dare challenge his ownership of the fast lane. I joke you not.

Had that experience myself when driving my Maserati behind a 330 and a 325 (these owner sometime cannot really appreciate the power of the 3200gt until you show them !...but Im determined to be one of the "Friendly" BMW Drivers - Honest !
(No chuckles please! - Yes I can hear you laughing from your PC's you know!)
No dont get me started on BMW cars which are clearly not 'M' Cars but have the 'M' Badge on the rear of their 520i !!! Thats another thread !
