I think the mags ok,i dont really want to go into detail but i'm a fan of modern porsche cars so im affraid the mag only has limited appeal to me.
Still think the model listings at the back is a waste of space as the Gt porsche does it far better.
Also how long before you run out of 911s to write about,then just start covering the same old cars as the other two mags.
P.s Guys what i like most about your mag is that you come on this forum and take part and thats one of the main reasons i buy your mag.

I think we would run out of stuff to write about if all we intended to do was write about cars. We hope to broaden our remit by delving into more detail on the technical side of 911's - we really want to explore in more detail why the 911 is so good. We also look forward to broadening the way in which we explore 911s and how we use them and who uses them. I don't want to go into any detail - but I hope our magazine goes on to deliver the sort of thing that we enthusiasts want to read.
It will not become a lifestyle publication - its a car mag. But, we will include 911 lifestyle elements. For example, I would like to take a 911 to the alps for a bit of snowboarding. Opportunity for great photos, a real test of whether a 911 is 'suitable'for the job and a bit of a jolly!
No excuses needed for a jolly...but there are lifestyle mags that do lifestyle. It's a bit late, and wrong, to say that a magazine dedicated totally to the 911 hasn't got long legs. The list in your reply (johnfm) looks reasonable. If I want to read about people going skiing with expensive luggage there are magazines that will tell me how to do the same while buying one of their expensive timepieces from the page opposite. No thanks, most of us on here know how many beans make five and also how to make our own minds up about holiday destinations and pastimes for the impecunious and infamous. I'd prefer a magazine about genuinely 911 stuff, but each to their own, and that's the point isn't it? Your marketplace will ultimately decide whether you got it right 
John sounds positive just try at all costs not to cover the same cars as the other two mags do,just gets a bit boring.
Ps i liked old vs new 993/977 it really does put the 0-60 crowd in there place and shows in the real world 0.5seconds quicker does'nt count for jack.

I've loved the mag so far, but this month bloody dozens of typos - and I've not found a funny one yet -the article on 996tt at Nurburgring really annoyed me - get the guy to stop trying to be clever and write simple English (and what's so wrong with yellow cars?
Really getting bored with the letters page being filled every month with "what a great mag" - okay we get it by now (to be fair I think you backed off this a bit this month)
and what happened to the USP, only 911s? last month the Dino, and this month, well maybe we could do comparisons with other Porsche's too.
Excuse the rant, it's still the first Porsche mag I buy, and it is great you're so active (and honest) in participating in the feedback

Your rant is fine but if I may, I'd like to address a couple of issues:
1. Typos - you're right, far too many this month and we will be using a professional proofreader to help eliminate this problem, so please bear with us on this.
2. Ferraris and other marques - only a fool would suggest that the 911 has had no competition over the decades and we'd be just as foolish not to examine the tactics employed by Porsche's rivals to steal customers. The 911 has survived while others have come and gone - we need to analyze why that is the case and can only do this by examining what other companies offered as alternatives to 911 ownership. Yes, we say 'Nothing Else Matters' but that doesn't mean we can't appraise the competition. We won't, however, be running 944 buying guides.
Keep the feedback rolling but please try to see what we're doing before drawing any conclusions. If there's anything in particular you'd like to see in Total 911 then anyone can email me at kevin@9publishing.co.uk and we'll consider all ideas carefully - it's your magazine, after all!

ha - I subscribe and thoroughly enjoy your magazine, but it's a shame you didn't have a camera in tow when I tried to drive to Verbier last new year in my supercharged 993.... I wrote about the complete mentalism of the drive on PH pretty soon after I (luckily) made it there without trashing the car And yes, I wasn't completely insane, I fitted a Porsche-approved set of proper winter tyres. Unfortunately winter tyres alone weren't adequate for the job...
I may be a shite driver, but if you do a serious 911 Alpine winter driving article in your magazine, please take both winter tyres *and* chains / 'socks' or a back up car. My 993 on winter tyres was almost impossible to drive safely on packed ice and snow, and I couldn't find any chains that were certified to fit without damaging the bodywork.
(looking forward to the humiliation of an article stating how easy it is to drive a 911 up to ski resorts. And I bet you take 4WD cars
