Was I the only one to hear the monotone voice of tricky dicky Burns utter "you Cu*t" when he span off the road on today (Sundays) rally GB WRC?? not sure if he was taliking about himself or his co driver!!

Seems like the censors beeeep machine missed that one out!! Blimey proves he is not actually a dull robot devoid of emotion and personality.

Edited to add- well he could still be a robot, but perhaps he has now been programmed to swear occasionally to make him seem more lifelike, in an effort to pretend to the public he actually has a personality

err I'll get me handbag.

If I was Nick I'd be a bit sour too. Sure he made some mistakes this year, but so did Colin, but Nick always seemd to take the fall.
The off in NZ was McRae's fault, but Grist got the blame and the boot.

I heard that after Gronholm rolled out, the car came to a rest, missing at least 2 wheels and various other bits and pieces, he tried the starter to see if the car would go!!!
Gotta give the guy credit for a never say die attitude!!
And how about Delecour going MENTAL at his co-driver?
I'm surprised it didnt end in

All in all bloody good rally, esp seeing Solberg get his first win, how can you not like the guy? Top notch effort. He shows that Scandinavians can have personalities too!!! LOL (apologies to any Scandies)

My fave quote this year was from (I think) Sebastian Loab, who when asked how it was no one could catch him on one of the tarmac rallies replyed "because I drive so fast"..... class

Your not the only one Iguana.

I heard it as well. Judging by his look towards his co-driver I don't think it was aimed at him.

Sure looked like he was out to P!ss about in the forests didn't it. People go on about the safety of marshalls etc in F1 but how about in rallying? The ones dealing with Gronholms mess were slightly fortunate when Paasonen came to rest about 5 metres away!! Complete madness but great fun.

The 4/5 day GB rally is dead. By using stages all over GB, they couldn't secure each one so loads of people getting in for free.

Bring on the Welsh international rally and hey presto, you can charge a fortune for tickets.

I went to 4 stages and did not pay a penny to get in.
As most stages are public land you can not be stopped.
We were vary careful to stand in were safety officers told us it was ok.
All they did is stop us parking near by.
Even on the MOD land we were just tolled "You can not come throw here, but I can not stop you going in over there!"

Well done mate . I've not "Done" the rally properly since the late 80's (yesterday was my 13th wedding anniversary , you figure it out ) . nice to see it is still possible.
