It seems that each time I start up my T350 I get a pressure sensor warning. I clear it, an all seems okay. During driving it'll beep again at some point which I clear and again all seems okay. The sensor readings seem correct in that if you blip the throttle the pressure goes up so I'm assuming its a loose connection or something.

Anyone know how you get at the sensor so I can give it a check?

Hi Lee
There seems to be a lot of fauly oil presure censors around at the moment. I recently read on here of someone who was on the fourth censor.
I had mine replaced recently, as the original started to leak, plus i was getting "oil presure censor fault" coming up on the dash every time i started up, along with intermitant bleeping whilst driving along, but it was so fast that i was unable to read what it was saying.
That censor has now also failed,(one day after fitting!!!) and is being replaced again at the moment.
Are you getting any oil drops on the floor of you garage??
Coz if you are, chances that it will be your oil presure censor leaking.
Hope that helps...Dave
PS.. the censor is visible from under the car, and is better looked at from a ramp, so blag your way onto a ramp at a tyre fitting place, and tell them you want them to check your exhaust or something...

Thanks - I'll take a look today. Haven't spotted any spots (!) but that may be because I haven't been looking...

Have been waiting for oil pressure sensor for my Tusc for 4 mths; no parts available from factory. Exhibits same symptoms as yours, no oil spotting thankfully, but shame not to be able to get such a tiny part though...

Hi All,

I had my pressure sensor changed on my Tam 2 weeks ago. It was replaced with an upgraded item as the other version is prone to failure, as we all know. I called the factory and they sent one out to my dealer the next day. Had to pay for it myself, but hey, was sick of waiting for original item. Cost £105 inc fitting.

Interesting to hear there is a better part available.

FWIW it looks pretty straightforward to fit the sensor, might save 30 mins labour (or whatever they charge) in the future (hopefully ginner will never need to do this since he has a newer stylee part!).
