Hi folks,
I am planning to take my mother in law and my wife to the Cenotaph in Whitehall this Sunday, however my ‘mil’ is well into her 80’s and my wife is disabled, as a result I am trying to find the best route to take them. I will need to find the best combination of disabled parking with the shortest walking distance, but I am struggling with any sites I’ve found so far on the net.

Any locals or others who either have knowledge of the area or are attending care to share any info please – it would be greatly appreciated. We will be travelling from north of the capital (Camb’s), if it is of help.

Thanks for any info,
Steve

Apparently Westminster tube is fully accessible via wheelchair and a three minute walk for an able bodied person. There is an Excel station accessibility guide here How about parking up and using one of the outer wheelchair accessible tube stations?

Cheers for the link, I was thinking along the same lines - drive in then tube it if there was no specified disabled parking close (mind you given the event most close parking would need to be designated disabled).
