Porsche Warranty on a Modified Car

Does anyone have experience of how OPC's behave regarding the extended warranty when the car in question has had the engine, exhaust, suspension and brakes modified? The GT2 I am aboutto acquire will go to Ruf for these mods and the warranty is due to be renewed in January. Is it worth renewing to cover the parts of the car that remain untouched or am I wasting my money?
I've had both my current 996TT and my previous 992c2 chipped, sport exhausts & air induction kit, brake upgrades etc, on both I have had extended warranty which the OPC sold me and the OPC went on to do warranty work on both cars with out any hassle.
Recently I had boost issue, which took several visits to get sorted, they said a couple of times, oh it must be the mapping on the EUC, but I was adamant it wasn’t. They replaced several components under warranty during the troubleshooting process and it’s now sorted.
I’m sure it’s all down to the people and the relationships that you have with them at the end of the day, I’ve been using the same OPC for over 5 years now.
On this sort of car, it’s worth the £800 price for warranty, I’ve had back over £2.5k of work this year under warranty, and so it’s paid off.
If the engine had blown up, then I’m sure they may have questioned the mods and I may have fallen fowl of their warranty T’s&C’s. Joys of mod’ing!
OPC’s like doing warranty work as they get good money on a fixed rate per job, so anything they can push under warranty keeps the customers happy in pocket and keeps them coming back. Works for me 
