Engine cutting out.

I have a 2000 cerb, I am running it in after a rebuild but after covering about 400 miles the engine is cutting out. As far as I know I think it is an electrical fault, as the engine stops and the immobiliser turns on. This happens after I have been driving for about 40 miles, the engine restarts straight away after disarming the alarm and drives fine.

It is completely random the engine temp is normal and I can be stationary or moving at any speed.
I think it is an alarm fault but I need to do another 300 miles before it goes back to the dealer.

Any ideas?

It does seem alarm/immobiliser related and there is only one man to call in this instance........
