That makes sense Glenn, I really can't see how much MORE power they could get out of the current engine. BUT, what does this 3.8l engine mean for weight??
That picture of the 'widebody' black 997 GT3 looks AWESOME.
Incidentally what is the engine size of the 997 Cup car?

That's what doesn't add up for me, as if it will be 3.8L, then why are the current supercap/ next years carrera cup
running the current 3.6 ??

Not sure if that black one is wide body or not to tell the truth.

Although, I can't tell the difference between narrow and wide body on the current 997 range for the
life of me, and i thought I was a bit of a porker Anorak !!!

Bingo!

I hope they're not going to water down the product. The GT3 should always be a roading going cup car if you know what I mean - a racer....

I'm wondering if the 3.8 will go in the RSR...

Not convinced by widebody though - more weight + drag. They've done that simply because it looks cool I suspect

Mmmmmm....should I get the Black or stick to Speed Yellow???

Happy to say I'm first on the list at my local OPC.

Black with black painted wheels would be nice!

Decisions, decisions!

I think the headlight surrounds look odd on cars that don't complement their colour. Black, white, silver probably the best for this car imho. Brave man to buy a white one though as I bet it wouldn't help resale.
