Unexpected find on my 993C4S

Bought a 1997C4S 993 a couple of months ago. A decent sunny today - thought I'd spend some time getting to know the car. Today I decided to give the wheels a serious cleaning - taking them off one at a time and serving up a little elbow grease. I know, I know - such extreme measures are a step too far for some, but I had a rare day with some hours free and I made a good discovery...I think...?

As I took the first wheel off I was surprised at how light it was - way lighter than my previous car - an RS4 but also with 18" wheels. I cleaned it up and revealed and made a note of the part number on the back - 993.262.136.00. The rear wheels turned out to be 993.362.140.00. Got myself on the 'net and confirmed that I did indeed have Turbo Hollow Spoke "Technology" wheels and not the usual Solid Spoke Turbo Look wheels that I thought should be on the car. The car's option code numbers didn't list this and I can only therefore deduce that some kind previous owner has parted with some cash for a lighter set of wheels. Or am I wrong and UK C4Ss came this way - I had been referring to info on Rennlist and so perhaps its different for US-spec cars?

If so, a pleasing bonus for my Sunday cleaning...!

Next week the engine bay - perhaps I have turbos...
