Funny that they blame the accident entirely on using his phone and not on the fact that he was probably on cloud cuckoo at the time. Tragic accident, though.

So basically, the guy was a tw@t who caused an accident, ing everyone else up, while he doubtless got away without a scratch.
Quelle surprise...

At least he got a decent stretch.

I saw some dozy bint trying to send a text message while riding a scooter up the A38 the other day! bloody incredible stupidity, I couldn't believe my eyes, if she had fallen off and got run over they would have obviously found a speeding motorist to blame... Pah!!!

Certainly not enough if the guy has already been caught driving while banned and uninsured.

It's terrifying how many of these people are out there!

Unfortunatly he wasn't speeding as well or they would really have thrown the book at him.

Saw a dozy bint doing similar behind me for about 10 km this morning. I saw she was on her mobile phone - all the while holding it to her ear with her right hand - then I noticed she's scratching her chin and gesticulating with her left hand while the car is wandering all over the road.

At the next set of lights she hangs up and dials a new number. I got a good gap when the lights changed cos she was otherwise distracted but she speeds up and catches me, then while she's in the middle of heavy traffic she pulls out a piece of paper with her left hand and starts reading it - still with the phone in the right hand.

Gave her a bit of a honk when I got into the slip lane to turn right and she continued past me. Probably wondering which friend I was.

She almost hit the median strip kerbing and strayed into the breakdown lane several times. I just hope that when she goes, she doesn't take anybody with her.

Next time you see someone using a phone while driving don't just hoot - it's too subtle. Follow them home and garrott them. They're going to die anyway, why not let them do it quietly without hurting anyone else?

Ban phones or educate drivers - which do you think they'll do?

Cull the stupid.

I'm not condoning it, but people get less time in jail for premeditated acts of violence and even kiddy fiddling.
This is more of a Darwin award contender.

And women say they can 'multi-task' and men can't. If this is 'multi tasking', I'm surprised these drivers get cheaper car insurance.
P.S. - I don't discriminate against women, just the ones who discriminate against men to prove bullsh*t points.
