575M Maranello Challenge?

Lancasters in Colchester appear to have what looks like a 575M Maranello with the same Challenge striper over the full length of the car as comes with the 360CS. Has it always been an option or is it a specific special edition or something?

It will prob be after mkt vinyl .The CS factory stripe is also vinyl but clear coated . Nice £3.5 k option, eh?!

I know the sales guy at Colchester well and had a pint with him on Friday evening, this beauty came up in conversation again

The car in question is a cancelled order where the chap stuck his £10k down and once his order arrived shrugged his shoulders and proudly told them he couldn’t afford it.

The upshot of that is they are stuck with a car which is pretty much unique but worth I would imagine a huge amount less than the £202k they are asking for it.

Without dipping into the Ferrari spec sheets on the website this is a 575 with an HGTC package? And a few extras which includes the strip. It isn’t sticker but is in fact painted into the car and cost a bleeding fortune.

The car has been sat there for some time and I would hate to think how much of a hit they will take to get rid of it.

Interestingly though despite the contract being between whoever the bloke was that burnt the £10k deposit and the factory, the dealer in this instance still has to to buy the car off Ferrari SPA. Ouch! £150k? I would think??
