Wow! My first Porsche was a 'triple' black Boxster and it got me started on what I imagine will be a lifetime of Porsche ownership (had a 911 3.2 cab since and now a 996).

I loved my black Boxster (and still see it every day!) - at £11K I could easily live with LHD!

Early Boxsters are great value now...Why bother with Lhd for that money???

Hi All,

I agree - Boxster prices continue to fall (there are plenty around) and a RHD car can be found for less than 12K - hence, a LHD should be achievable for over £2k+ less.

The Boxster has become a fantastic value car though. I had a 3.2S which hardly depreciated during 2002. Now, an 'S' can be found for less than £20k.

What's interesting is that a good 928 (GT/GTS), 968CS (especially M030) or 964 will probably cost you more! (these are 10-15 year old cars). All are rarer than the Boxster and have a different image I guess.

It's the dodgy suspension and engine upgrades that would worry me. Probably been thrashed to within an inch of its life.
