Hit & Run - Was this your bike??

Received this email from the group I'm with....

i was on a bus last night that, whilst going round the corner at woodford motorcycles in south woodford, hit the bike, knocking it over and didn't stop.

even when i pointed out what had just happened he refused to stop saying the bike "shouldn't have been there". i asked if he would report it and he said no. as i was leaving the bus i asked for his name - he refused and asked me to leave the bus.

so i took his reg number and reported it to the police at barkingside who confirmed it would be a criminal offence if the driver did not report it.

but i need to try to find the owner to pass on the details of the bus for insurance etc and also to offer to be a witness if needed.

so if anyone knows who owns this bike, please let me know. i'm also going to call woodford motorcycles but they're closed til tuesday and i imagine whoevers bike it was got a nasty surprise either last night or this morning.

'Leaving the scene of an accident' won't be good on the license of a *professional driver

Yeah, reports have been made to both the bus company and the police. Suggest this guy already has a string of "issues" relating to this sort of thing, hence the not wanting to report...To$$er.

bus drivers are w*nkers, they don't care, i've had 3 nearly knock me off my bike (and i've only bin riding for 3 weeks!).

DON'T come to Blackpool on your bike, buses and coaches everywhere that just prat about and get in your way and then pull out in front of you .

Sack the bus drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And its quite a reach to punch the mirrors

Punch them instead, service buses are the worse and the drivers are usually down low.

If they have there arm out that stupid little window, you could always break that as well
