I was at a 2 1/2 hour karting enduro last night, and as we headed home it was just getting nice and chilly.

The car was sooo responsive on the throttle :-)

Also had to smile when the guy said at the end .. "Now remember, your car will not handle as well as one our karts..." Yeah, right.

Anyone exepriencing the roads being salted or gritted yet?

Went out on Sunday morning to fill the induction system with chilled air, only to find all the local roads around Geordie land (Thats Newcastle upon Tyne for our USA cousins) had been covered in salt. Yuck... How rude?

Cheers,
Ian.

??? Set the blower to have the air-con on, small amount of heat, and recirculate and it should clear in a few 10's of seconds.

If you don't turn the aircon on (which dries as well as cools the air) then you'll be there for ages!

28DegC of Mauritius to 2DegC of the UK has been rather a shock. Forgetting I've got to bleed the brakes was another. Really not very good in the cold....

Ah, but it's good anti-freeze! Must have a top up in the next couple of weeks...
