in the US check with www.kandkinsurance.com/ They insured my last race car. When I told my agent I was getting an ultima, he know the car and said they could cover it. I haven't checked out prices yet.

That sounds rather expensive. I paty £600 for 6,000 miles, and it's only that much because I had a large claim 2 years ago. Without that, it would have been £430.

I tried everying from joining clubs to get a discount, tried to use someone elses 6 years no claims and use me as a named driver .. but MSM wouldn't reduce it. Even keeping the car at a friends house in the sticks wouldn't reduce it very much. Oh well .. its only Money!

I am 31, car is garaged, limited to 5000miles (I wanted 10K), and valued around the £45k mark (bit light now but I originally planned to spend a little less on the car!).
Its also decared as over 500bhp which caused a few sharp intake's of breath and the reduction of the milage, but I do have a thatcham 1 alarm.
My cover with MSM was around £750 with a normal excess!
