Question from my Dad, he received a nip but wants to find out more details before he signs it. The nip states that he exceeded 30mph but doesn't say by how much, it is ok for him to write and request more details for example the speed he was going, what sort of camera it was and to request a photo because he isn't sure if it was him or my mum driving. If he does write a letter does he send the nip back or keep it until he receives a reply to his letter. he isn't trying to evade anything but wants to make sure it wasn't one of those caneras that were in the press recently for catching stationary cars speeding.
He can write and ask for evidence but chances are they'll refuse to give him any.
