Its Ivor The Engine that does it for me.

There's something about the sepia stained colours, the flakey animation and the gothic undertones that define my younger days.

The Clangers pressed all the right psychedelic buttons, but there simply weren't enough trains in it for the young PatHeald.

Bagpuss was just there to keep the girls happy, but Emily loved him and Gabriel the Toad's mandolin had been dipped in LSD.

Noggin the Nog was just a load of nonsense.

Bloody Hell, the Shiraz is good tonight.

Cheers

Pat

Mary, Mungo and Midge! A middle class family if ever there was one.

Loved Idriss the dragon in Ivor. Always wanted one for myself.

Anyone remember ISI NOHO? Weird programme about a magical panda (i think) His name came from his wodden crate which said 'thIs SIde up Use NO HOoks' with strategic holes in it.

Hell Yeah!

Theme tune particularly effective as a wake up call when played rather loud

Nope, wrong! different genre entirely.

Think 'Watch with Mother' or anything by Oliver Postgate.

We have a video box set of the complete 'Ivor the Engine' - I'd forgotten that they started in B & W! Sheer class.
Oh and 'Battle of the Planets'!
