does anyone know anything about the car. Also it has the mormal suspension, how much would it cost to get a set of Nitrons and is it worthwhile.

Hey Gazm - it is worth getting Nitrons - think it will cost you a grand.
Why dont you look at the private sale in Guildford and get APM to check it for you. Save yourself 5 or 6 K to spend on goodies and reserve for running costs. The dealer warranties on older cars arent any better than you can get for yourself.

re warrantees: I believe that DM offer a 12 month deal. I'd trust them more than some of the aftermarket ones. I had AA cover for it but never used it.

re nitrons: try a car and see how you feel about it. My car behaved itself so well that I didn't want to change anything on it (after the tracking was changed at Austec)... Mind you, I haven't done any track days with it.
