The most boring pile of plastic crap I ever got for xmas.
Round and round, swirly patterns, until the pen wore a hole through the paper. Big ferking deal, santa. How about an air pistol, you fluffy-faced fat git?
If you hated it so much then why did you buy me one?!?!?!
If it was good enough for the goose..............

Nay lad, mine were whittled from 'tbranches of a tree 'n held t'gether w'th sinew from a deer's hind leg.
For some reason I still have it. Bloody useless thing that never seemed to work properly and which I probably only used half a dozen* times.
* for the benefit of younger readers and anyone doing AS level maths, a half dozen was 6. Meaning the a full dozen was 12, unless you were a baker when it was 13. I think they probably still are the same even today but suspect that the mention of such measures has been banned by the EU. I expect the Nanny State Police Farce to arrive withon minutes of posting this. If I don't post again please initiate an undercover search and rescue mission.

Yep, Pantograph - mine was blue and by moving the pencil you mnake things bigger or smaller. (Jumpers for goalposts moment). But the biggest thing was probably Etch-a-Sketch - which at a later date I discovered was filled with microscopically fine silver powder...
And to that some Keil Kraft model planes to build and that was my spare time filled

Yep, was the proud owner of one of those too, though as I remember, wedg1e had the monopoly over that one!
You'd think after having had all these drawing toys, I would be a budding artist but I can't even draw water from a well!
