Recently purchased a Tuscan (very happy with it so far) and planning on taking it over to France for a drive. Does anyone know where I can get some headlamp converters from?

I'm not sure you can convert them. Best advice I heard is to drive around with some black masking tape cut into triangular shapes in the boot. If you get stopped, apologise for the fact the converters must have fallen off, and stick the tape on the lights.

NO you can't convert them, just drive with none and act dumb if you have problems.

I spoke to someone at the factory (more than once) who was convinced that the lights can be easily modified by turning them round.

Having got the bonnet off and the covers off the inside wing this proved to be blatantly untrue.

I have yet to find a means to convert them, that said no one takes much notice, I suppose as the lights are fairly low to begin with.

You can switch the lights round, but you have to remove them to do it as one of the screws that needs removing is a mounting one!

I spent 18 months living and working in Rotterdam and never bothered adjusting the lights and never got stopped either

Best advise seems to be to have some tape and claim it must have washed off!!

Thanks for the advice. I will pop down to Robert Dyas and get some black tape...
