Ho Hum,

Two questions;

First - Anyone know where the heated wing-mirror relays live? My passenger side heated mirror doesn't.

Second - Chimaera 4.0l 1999 had it's 42k service a couple of weeks ago. All went well. Was running really smoothly before the service and similarly after. Took her for a burn down the motorway a few days later and all was well until I came off the motorway into standing traffic. Naughty beastie starts to missfire and lose power. Stayed that way since. Only starts to missfire when she's been at full temp (90) for about 10 mins.

Anyway, checked the plugs as part of my missfire fault finding routine to find 0.6mm gap instead of 0.9mm. Also all the plugs are carbon fouled but dry.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Richard Fisher

Mirror relay is behind the stereo, don't know if that does the heating and or just the movement, but it's got "mirror control unit" stamped on it in big letters.

If you get a result let me know, I'm having a bit of trouble with mine I can't get the mirrors to move at all
