Worried?

I got to my car this morning to find my car cover had been pulled all the way to the front of the car. The piece of string tied under the car had been undone, the only thing keeping it on the car was the wing mirrors!

Is this suspicious? Hmmm.

I admit it was very very windy last night but to pull the cover all the way to the front is making me a little stressed.

Hopefully its not some thieving tw@at on the prowl

I used to put a cover on the elise after it got a slight key mark down the wing (not major - about 3 inches but still £150 to be put right), however i got annoyed because if there was ever any wind the cover came off just as you described so now i don't bother. did you tighten the string with a few knots as they do tend to come undone quite easily?
Now i park the elise out of sight just in case, but i know that it can become a worry, i never leave it at my parents as there has been a lot of 'Keying' in the town where they live.
Crap isn't it, why cant people admire and not do the sh!t thing?

If it's the lotus full car cover it happened to me all the time!

eventually the undercar strap broke....was windy though.
