How easy to line up exhausts ?

The near side exhaust on my Griff 500 sits 'twisted' slightly; noticeably lower than the off side one ..... I have seen a couple of Griffs before like this. It's nothing major, just an inch or so but looks untidy. How easy is it to correct ??? Any ideas .....

Mine also has this problem.My offside is noticeably lower than the nearside,although not twisted.I thought about applying some heat where the tailpipes leave the last mounting braket,but dont fancy doing this on the car!If anyone has a better idea/has cured this a different way,then i'd also be interested to know please.

The main-muffler sits on 3 rubber-mounts. You can shims with spacers on one side to rotate the system slightly to get the rear pipes in level. pt

Easier said than done. I've fiddled about trying to adjust the two mountings and even removed the entire sytem, which isn't hard (10mins tops, takes longer to jack the car up and stick it on stands). I think the problem actually lies in the fact there is next to bugger all clearance to the silencer box and the prop shaft and this will force the box to not sit squarely. I plan to take my exhaust off over the next couple of weeks and make a slight ding along the length of the box to provide the necessary clearance, well, enough to level the tail pipes up.
