VDO fuel sender unit

Looking to fit new gauges and I need to know if the fuel sender unit give a high resistance when the tank is full or empty?

The factory told me the following in a recent enquiry : Empty 71ohms. Full 2 ohms.

Not sure if this will help but the autometer guage I use reads 0Ùs Empty / 90Ùs Full. Attached to the vdo sender it reads backwards full = empty
