R31 Skyline 3.0
Discussion
Would post in classifieds but I don't really have any information on the car and wanted to reach a kindly jap chatter who otherwise wouldn't be looking there!
A friend's grandfather died recently and his R31 Skyline 3.0 SGLi is sitting unused. It's in pretty good working order (well it's not a right old banger) and only has 72,000 miles on the clock - that might even be km's if that's what South Africa works in. It was imported from South Africa 2-4 years ago and is rust-free (presumably they get good weather over there?). There's quite a few dents around the bumpers etc, but just parking dings really nothing serious, and it's otherwise in good nick. It's sort of silvery-grey with grey velour interior (nice!). It has lots of niceties such as electric windows and central locking. Correction make that 'power windows' and 'power locking'
.
anyway it's of this model shape:
and I think is a 1987 model.
So anyway, thought someone might be interested in it.. it's plenty nice and would be a shame to go to scrap as it works perfectly. If nothing else, it's a 3.0 straight six with rear wheel drive, could be fun for a bit of drifting!
Although I'm fairly sure it's an auto. Or might be useful for someone wanting a RB30E engine? Or maybe you just want to tell your mates you've got a skyline? It's an uber-'80s-mobile.
Here's a spec sheet for this model:

So anyway anyone interested?

Mmm - where abouts is this Skyline located? I live in South Africa and drive a '92 3.0SGLi myself. About the mileage, we work in km's.
