Road Tax application improvements
Discussion
I've received my demand for cash today and have used a new service at DVLA that saves you hours queueing at a Post Office for your new road tax disc. It definitely saves alot of hassle and checks against their databases for other vehicle documents. Personally I think that the tax is an out of date tax and is just another guaranteed income for the government but at least it shows signs of improvement with the use of increased data that's been gathered. With the increased use of ANPR you do have to question just how useful the road taxing process is.
Yes I've used it without problems. Not sure why it was announced as a 'new service' in the paper a day or two ago.
Out of date taxes - where do I start? So called National Insurance? When you are as pushed for dosh as our esteemed Chancellor is any revenue is welcome. Sadly it was Winston Churchill who first raided the Road Fund, but if he hadn't done it someone else soon would.
