By shear misfortune, it has landed on me to buy a colleague a leaving gift.

The kitty is about £45-50 and I need to get something by tomorrow.

The guy is in late 40's and leaving his programming job to be a full time property investor in Spain (lucky git)

Any ideas on what to get him?

A digital camera might be handy for his new job, although you may need more money!

Ok, Enough with the WhoCTs.

Apparantly he is a golfer, and a good set of balls has been suggested.

Good idea? What brand if so?

Why not phone his partner to ask what he would like ?

....... you'll then get him something he really wants.

His family are already out in Spain. We don't have a number for them, otherwise a good idea.

He is not short of a bob or two, so it is more of a token thing.

If he is a golfer for £50 you can find a really nice travel golf bag. This is a BIG bag for putting his normal golf bag and clubs in when putting them on a plane. Usually padded to protect the clubs and with enough room for some clothes.

Here you go £49.99
