I've been looking at pictures of the 612, but can't find any with a front number plate on it. Where do owners mount it?

Do they normally use the stick on ones at the front of the bonnet, or do they have to ruin the front end by moundint it on the grill?

It mounts at the lower edge of the front grille, looks fine.
Take a look at any for sale.

Now a stick on one would look nasty!!!

There's a new Scaglietti that cruises around Bournemouth quite a lot. It's in a seal grey type colour, not sure the Ferrari equivalent, but its absolutely sensational! Didn't like the 612 until I saw this one and its gorgeous!

I thought the 612 was exempt from such socialist oppression?

Certainly, our esteemed 456GTM-owning Sir K of Johnstinium seemed to be without a front plate when last an audience was granted and so it should be with all great works of art.

After all, can you imagine Leonardo accepting the defacement of his chapel's roof by some oily parking attendant?

Saw this one in Belfast,
the plate seems a little lower than the 612 below. I think it looks slightly
better this way.

If only someone in the Northern Bank had thought to dial the number plate a bit sooner...

It is quite surprising the large number of Ferrari's and Masers knocking about the place. Maybe it's just a coincidence.

I've seen a couple around the Knutsford area. A dark grey (prob same as Rico spotted) and a champagne gold type colour. Wasn't a fan when they first appeared in the mag's but having seen a few in the flesh I love them! Real presence yet so understated at the same time Incidentally, I would risk it and take the front plate off altogether, surely the improvement in looks is worth a little bit of stick from plod

Few years back my front plate came off my car & I drove around without one for nearly a year & was never stopped once.
Try it & if you get stopped just offer the "it fell off yesterday officer" line.....& keep a broken front plate in your boot to really back up the story!

I saw a titanium coloured one a few months back on the A303......and it didn't have a front plate at all. And it looked fabulous

Driving a car without a front numberplate is not an endorsable offence. If I remember rightly, it is a standard fine (approximately £40 I think).

Some cars look awful with a front plate. 90% of Ferrari Enzos do not wear one. Anyway, if you owned an Enzo, you would not want to clutter up that front end, would you?

Believe it or not, even displaying a bogus registration number on your car is non endorsable. This has come to light in the media since the introduction of speed cameras and the London congestion charge.

I once started recieving summonses from Glasgow for lillegal parking, even though I live in Portsmouth and my vehicle had never been to Scotland. I had all sorts of problems convincing the Court that it was someone using my private plate fraudulently.
