Can you loose hair by not being out in the open and having to spend time inside a building 24/7?

Or am i starting to loose my hair now that i've turned 25...
I've noticed espically when in the shower, that there's quite a bit of hair coming out of my head and i can only put it down to the fact that i have spent most of the last 2 months at home while i let my leg and arm bones heal.

Might be useful to tell us all what else you've been up to whilst laid up at home, then the PH clinic can give you the full prognosis and maybe even a cure or fifty.

Not a lot really. normally get up around 10am have a small breakfast, do some of my physio exercise and then spend most of the time on the sofa with the laptop or killing time on the xbox. The only time i get out of the house is on a saturday morning when i go to physio or in the evening when i go shopping with the wife for about 45mins.

i've had hair coming out in the shower also, but there is more (alot more) than normal and i can start to feel my hair starting to thin out (i've always had thick hair). If i run my hands through my hair there are quite a few strands of hair in between my fingers. There only used to be one or two at most when i did this before.

Stress?? thats the main common problem.

- Are you stressed?
- Have you had any stressful experiences in the last month or so?
- Is your physio stressful?

Just a wild guess.

I had a major accident mid September, but i don't really feel stressed out about it. just bored as i have to spent time at home.
Physio fine, most of the joints have full movement and doesn't cause pain anymore, just need to build muscle.

Maybe you have precocious senile tendencies from lack of blood to your arm.

start taking propecia. (finasteride)

It will slow down or stop hair loss in about 90% of men. ...

Start now while you still have some.
