Booking tickets to a concert at the NIA academy Birmingham.

Do I wanna be sitting or standing at this place? It's jazzy/slightly rocky sort of music so what do you guys reckon?

No-one been here then?

It seems to be a massive place, so I'm thinking if you're in the seats you'd be at least 80m from the action and not be able to see anything.

Is standing a better bet.. would I be closer to the stage? Or is the stage raised up and I'd see nothing?

cheers

Is this the one in Dale End or Digbeth?
Who are you seeing?
I've been to Dale End loads of times when it was the Hummingbird and the only choice was to stand and get as near as poss to the front to get max atmosphere. Drink lots before you get there too.
Not been to Digbeth - well I have loads but not to the Club.

The one in.. err.. Birmingham?

It was last night and eventually I went for sitting. The stage isn't far from the seats so there's no problem.

cheers,

Dale End and Digbeth are both Birmingham, in fact about 1/2 mile apart depending on where you start the Digbeth end.
Glad you enjoyed it.
