I had formatted my laptop recently and last night decided to reinstall my Bluetooth USB.
This installed/paired ok, but after unplugging the device and rebooting, my Found New Hardware Wizard keeps coming up, despite me cancelling it. Also the "found new hardware" balloon appears as well advising the new hardware is a port.
I've tried device manager and disabled the ports, no better. Even tried uninstalling Bluetooth and the damned thing still appears.
Can anyone advise how to disable the hardware wizard?
I'm using XP sp2.
Thanks,
Stew..

Windows is great at hardware detection isn't it... A mate installed a network card and windows failed to detect it in all his available PCI slots. In fact, it only successfully detected it after he removed it and put it back in its box...
