Lucky the world ends in 2012 .

mmm - it is a frightening thought thgough isn't it. Such controls generally dressed up as the usual 'security' or 'anti-fraud' nonsense...

Combine a system like the Tesco Clubcard, with a Customer Relationship Management system linked into a credit checking system and it can be done now.

6 years ago I worked on a completely covert system that could programme your clothing when purchased with tons of information about you, including all your credit card information, important birthdays, anniverseries, kids, relationships, cars, spending habits etc all automatically downloadable as you enter a retail environment without the poor customer wearing the clothing being any the wiser. It offered the option of a more "personal" service within the retail shop.

Retailers at the time already had software able to lock cameras onto individuals and follow them through the retail environment, and they were even then working on face recognition systems........

Big brother is already here........and hes down the local shopping centre.

Cheers,

Tony

I saw a futuristic documentary where Amazon, eBay and Google got together and effectively took over the world.
