You could attach the battery to another car via jump leads, at least, that's what I did when I did the same thing!

Had a look at the booster/jump start point below the car, how do you tell which is positive and which is negative? I can't quite make it out I must admit!

So you'd think eh? Just shows the location of the charging point.

Spoke to Peninsular who said it should be marked with a +, but neither are marked.

Cheers Chris........ I'm going to give it a go. Just hope I don't blow the ECU.

It is explained in the manual (well it is in mine), but you have to smash a window(or find another way) of getting in first.

The "emergency door release handles" instructions are on page 34 of the manual.

Just been for a great spin to recharge the battery

Thanks for the replies

Excellent! Bet you won't forget to turn your lights off again anytime soon!

(used to do it all the time with the Chim, as it had no audible warning)

My dad taught me two things:

1) Never go out with a girl who has a better moustache than you
2) When you walk away from your car always look back

You should only buy a car that you cannot resist looking back at as you walk away!

I would recommend you get the battery charged fully with a charger (even a "long" drive doesn't do the job fully) just to make sure your battery is back to peak condition.
